There was lots of gossip surrounding Rob Valletta’s short appearances on “Vanderpump Rules.” Many people, including some of the cast, thought that the actor was using the show to gain fame and fortune — but he is saying that what actually happened was quite the opposite.
During the middle of season six of the show, the cast took a trip to Big Bear at Rob Valletta’s vacation house. Scheana Marie’s ex explained on the Domenick Nati Show that he actually loss money because he provided everything that his co-stars needed while on the trip which not only included essentials for the home but also a rip out on his boat.
“[I made] negative dollars actually cause I actually let everybody stay at my cabin and paid for things. So I’m in the red on ‘Vanderpump Rules,'” Valletta said.
He also wasn’t paid for appearing on the show. The 39-year-old also didn’t do it for recognition because he has a pretty lengthy resume.
Valletta told the host: “If anyone can IMDb me they know I’ve been in the industry for 15 years. I have more credits than everybody on the entire show. They aren’t famous. They are like the quarterback in high school that never made it to the pros because the quarterback in high school is incredibly popular but they aren’t famous. Once the show is done, people move onto the next reality star or the next show.”
These comments stem from the “VP” reunion where the cast accused Rob of only being on the show for promotional purposes. Lala Kent said that he would only want to hang with the group off-camera if her boyfriend, big-time movie producer Randall Emmett, was also going to be there.
To make matters worse, Rob waited until after filming ended to break up with Scheana Marie.
