After copping a plea in her drunken disorderly case, LuAnn de Lesseps is ready to take her popular cabaret show on the road.
The Real Housewives of New York star has been performing cabaret show “The Countess and Friends” at Feinstein’s/54 Below since this spring. But, now she has booked a show in Atlantic City on August 24.
This comes on the heels of some very good news for the former Countess de Lesseps.
De Lesseps did not appear at the recent hearing for her Christmas Eve disorderly intoxication arrest because she reportedly took a plea deal. Prosecutors charged her back in January with the felony charge of resisting an officer with violence plus two misdemeanor charges for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. But, they have agreed to drop the felony charge, and that means de Lesseps will avoid jail time.

According to US Weekly, de Lesseps will be in court in July to plead guilty to the misdemeanor charges.
Earlier this month, the 53-year-old opened up on The Dr. Oz Show about the events leading up to her arrest at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, and she claims that someone may have drugged her.
“I had rosé at lunch, with my girlfriend, we split a bottle of Whispering Angel, which is normal,” she said. “And then there were some people there that were fans, so they send me more rosé. So I drank more than I usually would.”
De Lesseps then said that by the time she got to the hotel she was pretty drunk, and after that, she doesn’t remember anything. That makes her think that somebody slipped her something.
After a video of her arrest surfaced online, she admitted that it isn’t pretty to watch yourself when you are not in a good place. However, it has given her the opportunity to reflect, and not many people get to do that. Plus, she gets to tell her story on RHONY.
The reality star says that when you can’t react appropriately in front of the police, then you have a problem. So, she did something about it, and she is grateful for the chance to get the window into looking at herself.
After her arrest, de Lesseps voluntarily checked herself into treatment for alcohol abuse, and when she came home a few weeks later, she tweeted that it was good to be home and she is doing great. She also thanked everyone for their support and good wishes.
De Lesseps recently celebrated her birthday at Omar’s with former RHONY cast member Jill Zarin, and a bit of an impromptu reunion developed. Dorinda Medley showed up with her boyfriend John Mahdessian, and then Ramona Singer arrived and jokingly asked why no one invited her.
Serial housewives romancer Harry Dubin was also there, but de Lesseps had no interest in him joining the group.
Watch LuAnn de Lesseps return from rehab when new episodes of Real Housewives of New York air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
