Carole Radziwill announced late last month that she was leaving the popular Bravo reality show Real Housewives of New York City, and now she reportedly has plans to join a different show on another network. Could Radziwill be the newest co-host of The View?
On the latest episode of the Straight Shuter podcast, host Rob Shuter revealed that Radziwill wants to join the ABC talk show since they lost two co-hosts in recent months. She believes it is the perfect time and opportunity for her to make the transition into pursuing ambitions more in line with her talent and background.
“Carole has actually got a shot” since she once worked as a journalist for ABC news and has kept in touch with her “deep contacts within the organization,” claim sources close to the situation.
However, since she became famous because of a reality show, that could end up being a strike against her. But, an insider says that Radziwill could be exactly what the show needs to remain relevant because she has a big fan base and can bring in new viewers.
When she announced she was leaving RHONY, Radziwill said that wanted to focus on a journalism career. Throughout her time on the show, she became good friends with her co-stars, dated Adam Kenworthy, and appeared to be writing.
But during the latest season, something seemed to change for the 54-year-old. Her relationship with Kenworthy ended, she feuded with Bethenny Frankel, and she no longer looked happy. However, Radziwill says that she had found her voice, and she knew it was time to leave.

After announcing her departure, some fans were sad to see her go, but others didn’t really care because they thought her current storyline was less than spectacular. When a fan asked on Twitter if she would be willing to share what really went wrong on the show, Radziwill said that she had thought about it, but if she wrote it all down for a blog post, she was afraid Bravo would edit it. Apparently, she had some things to say but felt the network would limit her.
It is possible that she wants to say some things about Frankel, and there could be some contract issues if she speaks up about the show or her co-stars. Of course, she does have her own website, but it doesn’t look like she wants to write anything about her exit on that platform.
Catch Carole Radziwill on new episodes of the Real Housewives of New York City Wednesday nights on Bravo.
