The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) says it is in the process of deporting Joe Giudice – the husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice – and a new report has surfaced that Teresa is begging President Trump to pardon her husband and stop his deportation back to his native Italy.
According to Radar Online, Teresa tried earlier this year to contact the President when the deportation rumors started. But now that ICE has lodged a detainer and started removal proceedings on Juicy Joe, Teresa has increased her efforts to petition the President.
An insider claims that Kim Kardashian inspired Teresa, after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star successfully petitioned Trump to release 63-year-old non-violent drug offender Alice Marie Johnson from prison.
“Teresa doesn’t think that it’s out of the question to get the same for Joe,” says the insider. “Plus, Joe is a celebrity and the lady Kim got pardoned no one has ever heard of! She has been calling Celebrity Apprentice folks, trying to get a contact for President Trump or [his daughter] Ivanka.”
In the spring of 2012, Teresa appeared on Celebrity Apprentice when the President hosted the reality show, and Joe – along with two of the couple’s daughters – made a cameo appearance during the fourth episode of the season.
Joe is currently serving a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud at Pennsylvania’s Allenwood Prison, and he is due for release in March of 2019. However, since the government has started the deportation process, he could go back to Italy while he is in custody.

ICE says that Joe could go back to Italy at any point, but if he completes his prison sentence first, the prison will immediately transfer him to ICE’s custody instead of allowing him to go home to his wife and daughters.
Joe came to the United States as a baby, and never went through the citizenship process. Instead, he became an illegal permanent resident. His attorneys claim that no judicial authority has made a final decision about Joe’ deportation, and instead the immigration detainer lodged against him in March 2016 is still in place.
His lawyers also say that Joe and Teresa Giudice are still optimistic that he will be able to return home to his wife and kids, and that is how this will all end.
Joe’s next appearance in front of an immigration judge will be on August 15th.
