Suicide is a very personal topic for the women on the Real Housewives of Dallas — but that did not stop LeeAnne Locken from telling D’Andra Simmons that she should “jump in a f*cking lake and drown” during the season reunion.
After the episode aired, Simmons took to Twitter to share her feelings about Locken’s hurtful comments.
“I’m disgusted that someone who says she advocates for suicide prevention would encourage someone to kill themselves,” she stated.

On this season of RHOD, Simmons revealed that her father was a victim of suicide, which makes Locken’s comments all the more shocking. In fact, Simmons addressed her father’s passing in the same post and slammed Locken for being reckless with her words.
Locken has not talked about her shocking comments during the reunion. According to Reality Tea, the reaction has been a mixed bag on social media.
Some fans defended Locken and believe that Simmons is reaching a bit. Plenty of others, however, criticized Locken for what she said and think Simmons’ reaction was justified. Either way, the comments were insensitive, especially considering Simmons’ history with suicide.
Earlier this season, Locken and Stephanie Hollman talked about how they both have attempted to take their own lives. Locken also claims that she openly supports suicide prevention.
The suicide drama, of course, is only the tip of the iceberg.
Locken and Simmons argued throughout the first part of the reunion and have clearly reached a point where they cannot be friends.

The two also got into a heated debate about fat shaming, with Simmons claiming that she kept a huge secret for Locken the past two seasons.
There is still another part of the reunion to go, so it possible that the co-stars end things on more amicable terms. But given how D’Andra Simmons reacted on social media, it is pretty clear that her feud with LeeAnne Locken is not over yet.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of Dallas air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
