Real Housewives Of Orange County alum, Lauri Peterson, opened up on Twitter today to defend her child, Joshua Waring, after his arrest for attempted murder among several other devastating charges. According to Peterson, he was wrongfully blamed and is struggling to clear his name.
The Los Angeles Times reported back in June of 2016 that Waring supposedly got into a car chase with the police along with three counts of attempted murder, assault with a firearm, avoiding police, driving recklessly, and battery.
Peterson said she has been silent on the matter for two years and enough is enough. Peterson explained she would offer the “facts of the case” before claiming her son was the victim of a false accusation.
A person wrote, “let us know the truth!” Check out her tweet below:
if you read the story that I tweeted previously by Scott Moxley from @OCWeekly you will get an abbreviated summary. He understands this case and although there were a couple of minor mistakes, he is the closest to the truth that I’ve seen so far. Much more to come.

The reality star linked to an article from OC Weekly which corroborates her story.
The article suggests that Waring is innocent of the crimes and is being framed by the police. As it was previously reported, Waring has been accused of shooting a 35-year-old man in the chest before stealing a BMW SUV to leave the scene of the crime.
Waring allegedly shot a man named Daniel Lopez, around 2 am in Costa Mesa, California, leading to a car chase with himself and the police, before being tracked down on foot after authorities followed him with a helicopter.
In addition to those heinous crimes, according to The Daily Mail, Waring supposedly got in trouble again in prison after he was caught with an alcoholic beverage.
Either way, Peterson says her son is innocent, and there hasn’t been much honest media coverage. The former star of Real Housewives claimed Moxley’s article in OC Weekly had a few minor mistakes, but it’s the closest to the truth she’s seen so far.
