Vicki Gunvalson is finally ready to leave Brooks Ayers in the dust. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has been locked in a legal battle with her former boyfriend and is reportedly on the verge of settling the lawsuit once and for all.
Gunvalson and Ayers got tied up in a legal fight over their shared business venture, Vicki’s Vodka, which they launched a few years ago. The two were taken to court in 2013 and the man suing them claims they broke a contract.
Gunvalson and Ayers have been handling the lawsuit through their own individual attorneys and haven’t had to deal with each other on a regular basis.

According to Page Six, Gunvalson just agreed to a settlement that will resolve the lawsuit and put an end to her legal woes. Once the settlement passes through court, the RHOC star will have no further reason to interact with Ayers, which is definitely good for all of the parties involved.
Ayers has moved on since he broke up with the reality star. This past spring, he exchanged vows with one Christy Groves and recently opened up about his interactions with Gunvalson. Ayers revealed that he has not talked to Gunvalson in a long time and that he is happy with where he is at.
“I’m in a good place. I haven’t spoken to Vicki in over a year,” Ayers revealed, adding that he last saw Gunvalson at a business conference in Las Vegas, where they had “separate mediation rooms.”
Ayers and Groves started dating shortly after he broke things off with Gunvalson. The two met during a trip to Indianapolis and moved to Mississippi after their wedding. Although Ayers had a roller coaster relationship with Gunvalson on the show, he assured fans that he has never been happier.

Gunvalson and Ayers have not commented on the reports surrounding their Vicki’s Vodka lawsuit. The two had an on-and-off again relationship for five years before ending things in 2015. The end of their romance coincided with Ayers’ drama on the show.
As fans will recall, Ayers was caught openly lying about having cancer. He even forged medical documents to make it look like he was undergoing chemotherapy. Ayers eventually admitted to forging the medical papers and claimed that Gunvalson had no knowledge of his actions.
Ayers promised to write a book about his cancer ordeal, but it has yet to surface.
