Being one of the Real Housewives of Orange County has been financially sweet for Shannon Beador. According to new documents the reality star filed in court in her bitter divorce from David Beador, the mom of three earned over $400,000 last year.
Beador stated that she is a reality TV personality who pulls that mid-six-figure income by only working seasonally between 5-40 hours a week. Beador reported earnings of just over $423K in 2017 from NBC Universal, EFT Media Productions, and FabFitFun, a company she endorses.
She also revealed that she has approximately $70,000 in cash and bank accounts, and with business expenses of $73,000, that left her with $350K.
The 53-year-old was not able to give numbers for exact expenses because she claimed those documents were in her husband’s possession. However, she did give a list of some of her monthly expenditures, and the numbers prove Beador is living the good life.
Her list included: $12,000 a month in rent, $1,000 on laundry and cleaning, $2,250 on clothing, $5,000 for her children’s private school tuition, $6,500 on entertainment, $1,625 on dining out, $1,900 on child care, and $2,500 on personal care and kids’ sports.
Beador is requesting full custody of the couple’s three daughters – Sophie, 16, Stella, 13, and Adeline, 13 – and is also requesting $25,000 in lawyer’s fees.
Shannon announced her split from David back in October and then filed for divorce in December after 17 years of marriage that included him having an affair with a married family friend back in 2015.
Just a few weeks after the divorce filing, David revealed that he was in a relationship with 34-year-old Lesley Cook, a rebound that “hurt” and “confused” Shannon.
David has always been a big part of Shannon’s storyline on RHOC, but he is leaving the show because of the split. That means it is time for a new chapter in Shannon’s life, and she is putting the drama behind her and moving on with her friend and co-star Kelly Dodd.
The pair recently hung out at Craig’s in Los Angeles, a popular hot spot for Bravo stars, and they shared some photos on Instagram that they captioned “two single gals in LA,” and added the hashtag #sistersinourjourney.
Dodd is also currently going through a divorce from her ex, Michael Dodd, and she is in her own feud with Vicki Gunvalson, who reportedly helped her boyfriend set up Michael with a new woman.
Meanwhile, Shannon is not only moving on with her personal life, but she is also tackling new business ventures. She will reportedly be cooking up some new recipes that will be available on QVC starting April 18th.
Catch Shannon Beador, Kelly Dodd and the rest of the RHOC when the new season premieres this spring on Bravo.
