‘RHOC’ Shannon Beador Ready To Wed? New BF Scot Matteson Wants Her To Commit To A Serious Relationship

Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador hasn’t yet finalized her divorce from David Beador, but her new boyfriend Scot Matteson already wants to take to their relationship to the next level. But, is the reality ready to take the next step with her guy?
According to Radar Online, the wealthy CEO was in New York City with Beador last week when she promoted her QVC food line Real For Real Cuisine on Watch What Happens Live. And, during their trip, Matteson said the L word.
“Scot told Shannon that he is in love with her and he has done everything he can think of to get her to feel the same way,” a source close to Beador said. “He has even started working out and losing weight himself to be more attractive to her.”
The insider added that Beador is afraid to put herself in the same position she was in with David. She doesn’t want to set herself up to get hurt. She is happy with Scot, but the 54-year-old is guarding her heart right now and trying to think with her head, instead of her heart.
After nearly 20 years together, Shannon and David separated in October 2017, and the mother-of-three says she is feeling stronger than ever. She is balancing her work on her successful food line with spending time with her three daughters, Sophie, 15, Adeline, 13, and Stella, 13.
And, the reality star has also slimmed down and gotten healthy. Near the end of her marriage, Shannon gained 40 pounds. But since her split, she has lost 30 pounds with diet and exercise.
She told People Magazine that it is crazy to think what you accomplish in a year. Shannon added that she has learned a lot in the past twelve months while losing weight, launching a business, moving on from a marriage, and strengthening her friendships.
Shannon says she did it all one step at a time, and she has gotten stronger, deeper down. She also took the time to build herself up through self-reflection and figuring out the changes she wanted to make in herself. She admits that she wasn’t a rose to come home to at the end of her marriage, and she needed to learn to take a step back and take in any perceived negative criticism.
David and Shannon Beador are headed to court later this month with hopes of finalizing their divorce.
