Being a member of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise is never easy, just ask Teddi Jo Mellencamp. The daughter of legendary singer John Mellencamp made her debut on a drama-packed Season 8 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and quickly found herself right in the middle of the scuffle. With the season reunion finally here, fans are wondering if the drama was too much for Mellencamp to consider returning for round two.
Mellencamp may have been raised in a celebrity household but she wasn’t prepared for the drama in Beverly Hills. As if handling the antics of her co-stars wasn’t enough, Mellencamp also didn’t have any friends on the show outside of her relationship with Dorit Kemsley, which made it hard for her made connections.
Despite all the ups and downs this season, what are the chances that Mellencamp signs on for Season 9?
Bravo has not released any casting information for the next season of RHOBH. According to Romper, Mellencamp did open up about her time on the show and offered fans a little hope that she might be back for another season.
In fact, Mellencamp admitted that she doesn’t have any regrets about things turned out on her first season and felt like she didn’t hold anything back.
“All I can say is that I don’t have any regrets from this season,” Mellencamp shared, adding that she enjoyed the experience and established a few lasting friendships.
Based on Mellencamp’s comments, it sounds like she is willing to consider a return to the show next season. That doesn’t mean producers will offer her another contract, but it’s a step in the right direction and a good sign for her fans.
That said, it is possible that Mellencamp won’t have enough time in her busy schedule to appear in front of the cameras. Mellencamp’s business, LA Workout Junkie, has well over 300 clients and 12 different coaches, all of whom require a portion of her attention.
She’s also juggling responsibilities with her family, which makes starring on a reality TV series difficult, especially when the drama escalates. Fortunately, Mellencamp’s family is completely supportive of her time on the show, though she doesn’t allow her daughter to watch the series, at least not yet.
Fans can see Teddi Jo Mellencamp in action when the second part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion airs Tuesday night on Bravo.
