New RHOBH star Denise Richards has been dating actor Aaron Phypers since September 2017, but his divorce from former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan just became final this week. Phypers and Sheridan were only married for six months before they decided to call it quits in July 2016, and they each went their separate ways a long time ago.
According to TMZ, a judge signed off on Phypers and Sheridan’s divorce settlement, and it wasn’t messy. She kept their home in Hidden Hills and a horse named Leo. Sheridan will not have to pay any spousal support, and neither will Phypers. He also gets to keep his personal belongings, as well as the bank accounts and cars that are in his name.
For a while, rumors swirled that Phypers and Sheridan were thinking about getting married, but there was never any evidence that they had actually tied the knot. By the time the media found about the marriage, the two had already separated and filed for divorce.
Now that the divorce is final, it clears the way for Phypers and Richards’ relationship, but there hasn’t been any indication that he will appear in episodes this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, the chances that he will show up are pretty good.
As for Richards’ ex Charlie Sheen being on RHOBH this season, her co-star Kyle Richards recently hinted that it is possible.
Even if he doesn’t show up, Sheen is definitely supportive of his ex-wife joining the cast of the popular Bravo reality show. Over the weekend, while at Project Angel Food’s Angel Awards in Los Angeles, the former Two and a Half Men star said that he doesn’t usually watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but he thinks Richards will be a great addition to the show.
“I don’t really watch that show,” said Sheen. “But I know it’s really popular and good for her. I’m sure it’s going to be a ball, you know?”
The 52-year-old also revealed that he has been “reading a lot of stuff and meeting with a lot of people,” so it is “only a matter of time” before he returns to the small screen. Ever since his HIV-positive diagnosis in 2015, Sheen has remained mostly out of the spotlight.
Richards and Sheen share two daughters, Sam and Lola, and the actress is also the mom of Eloise.
Denise Richards will be joining Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, and Teddi Mellencamp for season nine of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which will premiere on Bravo later this year.
