Real Housewives of Atlanta executive producer Andy Cohen recently appeared on The Jenny McCarthy Show, and the internet went crazy when he talked about the RHOA’s recent reunion show. Cohen admitted that no one was listening to him, he didn’t have control of the room, the cast ganged up on Kim Zolciak, and he should have walked off. Fans couldn’t believe it and started tweeting about how Cohen’s words blew their mind – and one even got a response from Zolciak herself.
“Sweetie, you didn’t see a 1/4 of what happened this season or an 1/8 of [the] reunion! I had positive moments. Regardless, I’m comfortable with who I am and what I stand for. It’s television! The reunion was disgusting! NeNe trying to kick me, girls making fun of my children, mocking my husband.” she wrote.
Once the news spread of Zolciak’s accusations that Leakes tried to kick her, the 50-year-old took to Instagram to set things straight. First, Leakes shared a screenshot of a headline about Zolciak’s claim, and the she captioned it with, “All I hear is quack quack quack! This girl is a compulsive liar!”

She went on to write that the fact that people want her to be something she isn’t is laughable, and she wouldn’t kick Zolciak and get trash on her expensive shoes for nothing. Leakes said things do happen in the editing room, but she bets everything she has that if she had tried to kick anybody, they would have shown it a million times by now.
Leakes continued by writing that you can ask anyone who was there – Cohen, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Eva Marcille – if you wanted the truth about the kicking accusation. Then she said that you couldn’t ask Sheree Whitfield since she had Zolciak’s back at the reunion.
She then ended the post by saying that this is another ploy to help Zolciak’s failing show (the RHOA spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy).
Burruss then backed up Leakes’ version of events by commenting on her tweet that Leakes never tried to kick Zolciak, and then asked how she comes up with this “bulls**t.”

Leakes found time to go after Zolciak even though her husband, Gregg, was recently in the hospital for 16 days. He is now home, but Leakes did reveal that she would be canceling a few of the New York dates on her tour because of her husband’s illness.
NeNe Leakes said she found it difficult to stand on a stage and laugh and tell stories when her husband is in the hospital and not feeling well.
New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo later this year.
