Kenya Moore is no longer part of the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t get the chance to see her on TV. According to a new report, Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, will appear on a two-part special about her pregnancy journey with “baby twirl.”
Moore posted a photo on Instagram earlier this week of her being filmed, and fans started freaking out. She didn’t give a lot of details in the caption, but she did add the hashtags #babydaly and #sitting. In the pic, Moore was sitting down while shooting the new project, and the mom-to-be was glowing.
Sources say that Moore left RHOA back in July because of messy contract negotiations, but she and Daly will star in the baby special that could turn into a full season spin-off if the ratings are good. We don’t know yet how much of the pregnancy fans will get to see, but it is possible cameras have captured everything from the beginning. However, there are conflicting reports about which network the show will air on. It could be Bravo, or possibly E!.
Insiders do reveal that Moore and Daly are making good money with this new special, no matter which network it airs on. Moore claims that one of the reasons she didn’t return to RHOA was because they tried to low-ball her on her salary. However, she did tell fans at the time that she had options.
“She’s probably going to make as much for the two-part special, as she would have made for a full season of Housewives,” the source said.
If Moore is getting a big paycheck for the special, it looks like she is already spending it on baby twirl. Her due date is coming up soon, and she has been posting pics on Instagram of shopping trips and also getting her registry ready.
The former beauty queen has been keeping her fans up to date about her pregnancy since announcing it on last season’s RHOA reunion.
According to OK! Magazine, even though Moore is no longer a part of RHOA, she has kept in touch with some of her former co-stars, including Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey. And, on one of Moore’s recent Instagram posts, Burruss commented about how big Moore’s baby bump is.
Moore replied, “Still have a few months to go, and I weigh 200 pounds!”
There is no word on when Kenya Moore’s baby special will air, but new episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo later this year.
