Another interview from Remy Ma has once more turned the hip-hop world upside down.
In a lengthy and very personal chit-chat, Remy decided to address her long-running feud with fellow New York rapper Nicki Minaj. And boy, she sure had a lot to say.
The Love & Hip Hop New York star said that a lot had gone down since she released the monster record/diss track, “ShETHER.”
In case you are not familiar with the track, Remy destroyed Nicki on it.
No stones were left unturned, the mother of one spoke about Nicki’s brother who was accused and went to court for child molestation.
Her husband…He’s happy having her home, having her heart. Helping her. Honoring holidays, holding hands Unconditionally unified. Understanding, uplifting undying. Sincerely sentimental. Savoring sensuality, simply since she’s so special. Been battling burdens: Bars, barbed-wire, badluck but best believe bondings by blood break blockages & bring blessings- babies being born Amazing accomplishments Achieved accolades -ANOTHER anniversary !? Nurturing… Nobody never needs nothing Deeply dedicated. Dearly devoted. Dependable. …Daddy = HUSBAND??I love you forever @papoosepapoose #HappyAnniversary #AnniversarySlaughter ☺️ #BlackLove #MerryMackieHoliday tomorrow on @VH1 9pm EST #RemyMa
Remy claimed that Minaj has a ghostwriter who is providing her with her biggest hits.
She also confessed that Minaj is a “pass around B” who slept with everyone on the Young Money label to further her career.
She also went after Nicki’s famous curves and stated that everything about the “Anaconda” femcee is fake.
Minaj hit back with three songs, each of them painting a more negative portrait of Papoose’s wife.
Talking about the feud with the publication, Remy said she is done with the fight.
She revealed that many people in the industry wanted the beef to continue, but she has already spilled all the anger that was on her mind, and it is time to move on.
Remy said: “I have no problem opening up to my fans and being honest. After everything I went through, I was stripped. Literally: Clothes off, bend over, spread your cheeks, open your mouth, letters read, phone calls listened to.”
She went on to reveal: “I feel like I was able to help push forward this dope female rapper movement [in 2017]. I think folks just started appreciating that there are so many artists and that we are so talented in many different ways. Neither I nor Cardi nor Kim nor any other female is single-handedly responsible for the emergence of more women in the rap industry.
She concluded by: “We all contributed. When we start to think that one person is the end-all-be-all machine behind everything, that is when we get all the back-and-forth.”
She will be dropping a new album entitled 7 Winters & 6 Summers and will focus on her time behind bars and how she was able to make a major comeback.
She also showed love and appreciation for her new BFF and Nicki nemesis, Lil’ Kim.
Remy is currently using in vitro fertilization in hopes of having a child.
