During the past few weeks, there have been various teases for Lil Wayne’s long-awaited album, Carter V. After he won the lawsuit to be released under Cash Money earlier this year, the rapper became the majority owner at Young Money under Universal.
Lil Wayne was responsible for recruiting the Young Money crew which included Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. All these artists have managed to have massive success stories under the Young Money flagship.
At the moment, no one knows for sure when Carter V, his album will be released. On the other hand, everyone knows that Weezy wants his fans to be able to hear it and considering everything that has been going on for the past years, he should drop it.
Reginae Carter, his daughter also posted a hint that the album release could be getting nearer.
‘Nae keep that tough skin you got baby cause they are tryna go in on you! Continue living ya blessed life love ❤️ Smile you know mfs hate that and keep stuntin on their young and old asses 😘😘’ someone commented next to Nae’s post on Instagram.
Another one of her followers said ‘At the end of the day Wayne’s camp & friends & family has been playing with us & hyping us up. It’s frustrating to still be a supporter when we are highly anticipating music that was made all the way back from ‘14.’
Someone else asked Reginae ‘, Please tell Wayne to drop it. Us die-hard fans need Wayne to drop his album and show this new gen of artists that he is still and always will be the goat. He is ten times more influential than Tupac or Biggie or Nas or Jay-Z Lil Wayne is the God of rap.’
