Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is getting closer, and it looks like some major drama will play out in front of Bravo cameras this time around. Between a new movie star cast member, a returning OG, and Lisa Vanderpump’s rift with her co-stars, the ladies of RHOBH are bringing it this season, and fans won’t be disappointed.
Just weeks after Bravo announced that Wild Things star Denise Richards would be joining the cast, she married her boyfriend Aaron Phypers, and the network’s cameras were there to film the event for the series.
According to an insider, Richards is still “like a fish out of water.” The actress is sweet and harmless, but she doesn’t know her place yet.

After being a “friend” and “guest” of the show for a few seasons, original cast member Camille Grammer is returning to RHOBH as a full-time cast member, and she also just tied the knot. Grammer married her lawyer boyfriend David C. Meyer in Hawaii last weekend, and her family and friends were there to celebrate.
But, of course, the real story is Lisa Vanderpump. She first made headlines last month when she refused to take group pics with the rest of the cast. Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne have both spoken up about Vanderpump’s isolation from the cast, and Rinna revealed earlier this week that Vanderpump hadn’t filmed with the cast for almost six weeks.
Vanderpump skipped out on a girls’ road trip, a Boy George concert, and Grammer’s wedding. She was also absent when the cast went to the Globe Theater for a concert to support Jayne.

Us Weekly reports that with the exception of Denise, Vanderpump is not on speaking terms with her co-stars after they allegedly caught her in a lie. People have attempted to reach out to the restaurateur, but every attempt has gone unanswered. And, the women of the cast believe that Vanderpump doesn’t want to face them and confront the situation.
We still don’t exactly know what caused the rift, but it has definitely made waves this season.
“It’s been a really outrageous season, from, like, literally the get-go. Usually, it’s like catching up, it picks up — this was like, ‘Bam,’ out of the gate,” Kyle Richards said earlier this month. “I don’t even know, we’ve never had a season like this before. It’s been a very wild and crazy ride so far. You never know what’s going to happen next around here.”
New episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will return to Bravo in 2019.
