Even though Rachel Lindsay is all about her beau, Bryan Abasolo, she’s not particularly thrilled with the idea of Valentine’s Day. Us Weekly caught up with the 32-year-old at the Red Dress Show on the 8th of February and admitted that she doesn’t like the holiday one bit.
Lindsay explained, “I hate Valentine’s Day, it’s not my thing,” and the 37-year-old Abasolo replied, “she tells me Valentine’s Day is not a big deal, but I don’t know.”
Abasolo jokingly stated he doesn’t know if he could trust such a woman who would say something like that. Despite her contempt for the holiday, Lindsay has a surprise gift for her professional fitness boyfriend, whose birthday is just one day after the romantic day.
Additionally, since the American Heart Association presents the show, it was fitting for the publication to ask questions relevant to the topic. Us Weekly asked her what they do about their heart health every year.
The lawyer said her boyfriend has no trouble sticking to fitness and health considering his job. He’s “always exercising,” and promoting nutrition, but Lindsay could use some work.
While chiming in, Bryan said there are a lot of things which can be done including any cardiovascular activity including light-running, even if it’s only for thirty minutes. Additionally, there are various kinds of supplements available including Omega 3 Fish Oils.
According to a report from the Mayo Clinic, contrary to popular conception, healthy fats are actually quite healthy for you, with some of the recommended foods being hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, and avocados.
However, for nutritional purposes, one should avoid things such as transfats which are typically present in all dairy products. A small amount of trans fat is allowed, but as little as possible. One nutritionist’s recommendations are different from another.
