Fans have wondered for the longest time: what did Queen Elizabeth have to say about Prince Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles? In a new biography, Tom Bower, claims Elizabeth was brutally honest with Charles when he confronted her about Camilla’s introduction to the family following Diana’s death.
After Diana passed away in a tragic car accident in 1997, Charles approached Elizabeth, and at the time, the Queen who was feeling the effect of “several martinis,” told him that she didn’t support his philandering even one bit.
In Bower’s book, titled, Rebel Prince: The Power And Passion And Defiance Of Prince Charles, Bower claims the Queen told him it was wrong for Camilla not to let Charles recover while he reeled from the death of his wife, Diana.
According to Tom, the Elizabeth called Camilla “that wicked woman,” and said she “wanted nothing to do with her.” Charles then took to the telephone to “tearfully” tell her his mother’s words.

To this day, The Queen continues as the Academy's 'Patron, Protector and Supporter'. During the visit, HM had the opportunity to view the Academy's current exhibition, 'Charles I: King and Collector', which includes a number of paintings lent by the @royal_collection_trust.
