Did Prince William just tell the sex of his and Kate Middleton’s yet unborn baby by accident? The older of the two royal brothers seemed to hint that they are expecting a boy!
While attending a sporting event in England, William let something slip that caused a lot of fans of the Royal family to believe that the couple’s third addition to the family is a son.
Prince William was watching his favorite soccer team, Aston Villa and he was able to witness Jack Grealish score the winning goal!
That is when the Prince allegedly turned to the pal he was enjoying the match with at the time, former Villa forward John Carew, and said something significant about the name of the unborn baby.
Apparently, he joked about naming the child after the player.
‘I am going to insist the baby is called Jack. [pause] Or Jackie,’ one news source claims he said.
But what does his comment really mean?
People are wondering whether or not he accidentally revealed that gender and then tried to cover it up.
It is also possible he was only kidding around, and upon realizing that what he said would make fans freak out, he quickly added ‘or Jackie.’
Of course, only time will tell if the new baby is a boy or girl, but a lot of Royal family enthusiasts are already convinced they are having a little prince.
We have to note, however, that the chances they know what it is themselves are slim if they are still following tradition.
As fans may remember, for their other two kids, Charlotte and George, they chose to not find out until birth.
That means that William was probably just very excited about the game when he said that and didn’t think much about it.
