As fans of the Royal family are waiting to find out the sex and name of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s still unborn baby, the parents to be are super excited to have a bundle of joy. The pair is very cute already, but the reveal of how the future dad has been calling their little one makes them even more like couple goals.
Even though the due date is in the spring, it turns out that Harry has already given a nickname to the growing baby.
While delivering a speech at the Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand earlier today, the younger of the two British princes referred to the firstborn as ‘our little bump!’ Isn’t that the cutest?
‘From myself, my wife and our little bump, we’re so grateful to be here. We bring blessings from my grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and our family.’
Unfortunately for those who have been looking forward to learning if they are expecting a boy or a girl, the nickname does not give away anything about that. But it does have a really nice ring to it!
If the pair is following into Prince William and Kate Middleton’s footsteps, they may leave us guessing until the very last moment as far as the sex and the name of the baby are concerned.
Harry did admit to a fan however that he’d love to have a girl!
Even the pregnancy’s announcement was a long time coming.
After months of speculations, on October 15, Kensington Palace released the following statement: ‘Their Royal Highnesses are really pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in Spring 2019. Their Royal Highnesses appreciate all of the support they’ve received from people all around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news.’
