Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their very first addition to the family, and now, a report claims the Royals are planning to give their offspring a normal upbringing – at least as much as possible! It’s not surprising at all considering that the happy couple is living life in their own way as well, to an extent, despite being royalty.
Furthermore, their kids are going to be raised differently, without as much pressure due to the fact that they are not in direct line to the throne of Great Britain as it is the case of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three young ones.
One source tells ET that ‘Meghan and Harry, who want to use their platform and their profile to further their humanitarian and their charitable interests, really want to pass those same values on to their children. They plan to spend a good amount of time in their Cotswold home and [Meghan’s mother] Doria will have a prominent role in their family as the children’s grandmother.’
The insider also claims that Harry and Meghan’s children are also going to be influenced by Princess Diana because just as her younger son and his American wife, she wanted to appreciate her privileged life and be mindful of those less fortunate.
The two women sound like some great role models for Meg and Harry’s kids!
Their ‘children are expected to one day have regular jobs, and will be raised to appreciate the differences in society. They’ll have a healthy respect for boundaries like other children. They’ll have chores at home and be brought up with respect,’ the source went on to say.
