Princess Charlotte is one of the most famous three-year-olds on the planet thanks to her adorable mannerisms and style. But, in addition to being super cute, she is also one of the wealthiest toddlers in the world.
According to Reader’s Digest, the little princess is worth $5 billion – $1.4 billion more than Prince George’s net worth of $3.6 billion. Charlotte and George’s fashion has boosted the UK economy because fans rush to buy every item of clothing the little Royals wear.
Whenever the palace releases an official photo, anything fans spot George and Charlotte wearing quickly sells out in stores. For example, when Charlotte met her younger brother, Prince Louis, for the first time, she wore a blue dress to the hospital – and it sold out in just 24 hours. And, in her 2017 official portrait, she wore a yellow cardigan that also sold out in less than a day.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace. This image was taken on 2nd May, on Princess Charlotte’s third Birthday. The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.
According to Closer Weekly, just months after Charlotte was born, British retailer My1stYears.com notice an increase in sales of their soft booties after Charlotte wore them during a family ski trip. A rep from the company said at the time that they usually sell about 40 pairs of the booties in a week. But within a day of the Princess Charlotte photo, customers had bought 259 pairs.
Brand Finance – a British consulting firm specializing in brand valuation – reported that when the princess was just one year old, the “Charlotte Effect” had already brought in billions to the UK economy.
As for Prince George, his fifth birthday portrait has divided fans when it comes to which member of the family he resembles most. Some believe he looks like his dad, Prince William, while others suggest he looks like Queen Elizabeth when she was a young Princess.
George is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt with blue buttons and blue shorts in the portrait, and if you look at pics of William at the same age, the father and son definitely have similar features.
However, there are some who think George looks like his grandpa, Kate’s father, Michael Middleton. George has the same dimples, nose, eyes, and smile, making him look like a carbon copy.
The palace released the photo last weekend, just days before George’s fifth birthday, and they included a statement that read, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday tomorrow. The photograph was taken in the garden at Clarence House by Matt Porteous, following the christening of Prince Louis on Monday 9th July.”
Princess Charlotte hilariously told photographers on the way into Louis’ christening that they were not allowed.
