According to new reports, Prince Charles is slated to become the next figurehead/leader of the 53 nations linked to the United Kingdom. The Queen’s wish for Charles to be the primary representative has been granted.
If the statistics are correct, the leaders who appointed Charles the head of the organization represent a combined total of 2.4 billion people across the globe. This fact is a reflection of the once massive British empire that colonialized the world.
The news of his confirmation comes after the Queen referred to her son as the new leader for the very first time. In a formal opening for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at the Buckingham Palace, the queen said, “one day the Prince of Wales should carry on the important work stayed by my father in 1949.”

Queen Elizabeth has been at the top of the association since 1952. However, despite the assumptions of many, the position is not granted through familial links.
At the beginning of his speech, Prince Charles said the Commonwealth has been a focal part of his life since first visiting Malta when he was a 5-year-old boy.
This comes right around the time when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting ready for their royal wedding. The couple is scheduled to tie the knot in a ceremony in this upcoming May.
As for the Queen’s resignation, the event on Thursday evening was meant to be a “royal sendoff” to some of the people in the audience. Or, in other words, it’s meant to officially say “goodbye” to other members of the organization.
Elizabeth is turning 92-years-old on Saturday, and reports indicate that she looked very “regal” in her white gown. And to be turning 92 is a massive feat; it must be all of that “royal” blood flowing through her veins.
