President Trump sent a message to his friends, quarterback Tom Brady and Tiger Woods, who have gotten some “blowback” for their friendship with the new President of the United States.
He is thankful for their loyalty – HATTERS GONNA HATE! Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, appeared on “Fox and Friends” on Monday and addressed the hate that Tom Brady received after he defended his friendship with Trump on his weekly radio interview with WEEI last week.
She stated that the new president is very grateful that he has friends like Tom Brady who are loyal and can ignore the verbal attacks thrown their way. She also stated that President Trump appreciates New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. She called him a good friend and a leader in the U.S.
Questions about Tom Brady’s affiliation with Donald Trump started coming up after a “Make America Great Again” hat was seen in his locker room back in 2015. Since then, he has tried to play it down, but now, with Trump elected president and Brady in the Super Bowl finals, the questions have come back.
For his part, Trump has done his best to remind everybody of their relationship. He offered praise to the Patriots quarterback as well as team owner Robert Kraft in a speech the night before he was sworn in. He also made sure to let the crowd know that Brady had called him to congratulate his camp before his presidential inauguration.
As long as Trump remains president and continues his controversial rhetoric of making America great again, Brady will have to get used to the verbal shrapnel.
