You may have seen Remy Ma in the realm of reality TV shows. She was once a part of the Love & Hip Hop franchise. But, it seems that now the rapper is gearing up to enter the world of scripted TV.
Variety reported that Remy Ma is set to guest star on the upcoming season of USA’s Queen of the South.
It looks like the hip-hop singer will play Vee who is a member of Chicago drug mogul’s security detail.
USA Network detailed her character in its press release saying that she will be ‘efficient in combat and weaponry, courageous, deeply loyal, and can always be depended on by her boss and crew.’
Season number three of Queen of the South is currently in production, and it doesn’t have a date scheduled for its debut yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Remy seems really proud of her achievement, and she shared her excitement on her Instagram account to show her plans to her fans and followers.
People were also excited to hear and see the news. ‘Yes my favorite female rapper on one of my top favorite shows I’m soooo excited,’ one of her fans wrote.
‘Keep the ball rolling Remy; you’re the face we wanna keep seeing. So much love I gat for you’ another one of her followers posted.
