While fans and close ones are mourning the sudden and shocking passing of the talented artists, it’s quite difficult to get closure considering the cause of death has not yet been determined. As you may already know, lead singer of Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan was found dead in her hotel room today.
Following the devastating news, now, Dolores’ bandmates decided to break their silence about what happened.
The band took to social media to announce what happened to their member.
‘Dolores O’Riordan died suddenly in London today. She was 46 years old. The lead singer of the Irish band The Cranberries, was in London for a recording session. No further details are available at this time.’
Soon after, one rep for the late singer also added: ‘Family members are devastated to hear the news and have requested privacy at this difficult time.’
According to police forces, they were called to come to the Park Lane hotel at around 9 A.M. this morning.
Upon arriving at the scene, Dolores was unfortunately pronounced dead.
That being said, the same authorities revealed no other details about the death other than that ‘at this stage, the death’s being treated as unexplained.’
That is quite strange! What exactly happened to Dolores?
As fans probably already know, the woman was supposed to go on tour alongside the Cranberries later in the year.
It was also reported before that Dolores was suffering from really bad back problems.
The singer has left behind three children – 12 year old Dakota, 16 year old Molly and the only one of age, Taylor, 20!
Dolores was loved by many and she is going to be missed.
