Bad news for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans who were holding out hope that Phaedra Parks would be returning. The southern belle shut down those rumors completely in an interview with US Weekly.
Phaedra Parks was a fan favorite during her time on the highest-rated Bravo show. That was until she was fired for telling Porsha Williams that Kandi Burruss was planning to drug and take her to a sex dungeon that Kandi has with her husband, Todd Tucker.
Although Phaedra claimed that she heard the rumor from someone else, the gossip obviously caused a rift between her and her former co-stars.
There had been some sightings of Phaedra and the Housewives leading some to believe that she was going to make her triumphant return after missing the tenth season. However, Parks claims she is on to bigger and better things.
“You know, I have closed that chapter, and I’ve moved on to new things. I’m now with WE tv and I’m very happy and very excited about the opportunities that they’ve presented to me. So, you know, that’s a done deal at the moment. I never say never, but you know, I’ve moved on to greener pastures,” she told US Weekly.
Celebrity Insider reported that Phaedra Parks along with Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard and Flava Flav will be appearing on “Braxton Family Values.” It’s partly due to the fact that members of the Braxton family refused to work until they received higher wages.
The mother of two touched on the subject.
“I’ll be on numerous episodes with Traci, and I think they’re gonna be fabulous. You need to tune in, because it’s something different. You know, anytime I come on the scene, it’s gonna be fabulous. So you know, tune in.”
Are you disappointed that Phaedra isn’t coming back to Bravo? Will you watch “Braxton Family Values?”
