According to a new report, Pete Davidson isn’t convinced that his breakup with Ariana Grande is a permanent one. In fact, Davidson believes if he keeps trying, he can win her back.
It’s been almost a week since Pete and Ariana announced they were calling off their hasty engagement, which they made shortly after Grande’s breakup with Mac Miller, who died on the 7th of September.
With that said, Hollywood Life claims, through a source, that Pete is already trying to get back to Ariana because he believes there’s still hope. They still have feelings for each other.
According to the insider, Pete thinks he can get her back before Christmas, possibly even by the time his birthday rolls around later this year. The publication reports that the star’s birthday is on the 16th of November.
Davidson is seriously hoping they’ll get back together again for his birthday, because, after all, celebrating one’s biggest year after arguably one of the worst breakups isn’t a great situation.
As it was previously reported, Ariana and Pete broke up on the 14th of October, just four months after they got engaged in June. Sources claim they both agreed they rushed into it, and that it just wasn’t the right time for them to date.
Additionally, Ariana returned the $100,000 engagement ring that Pete bought for her. But she did keep their teacup pig, Piggy Smallz. Ariana adopted the little pig last month.
Initially, fans were genuinely concerned about the future of the pig, because many believed they had adopted it together. And if they called off their engagement, the likelihood of one of them keeping it was small. Thankfully, little Piggy Smallz will be cared for.
