One new report by The Mirror accuses Pete Davidson of making ‘disgusting’ jokes about the terrorist bombing at Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert last year. Apparently, the controversial things were said during a standup comedy set at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.
What makes the allegations so much worse is that the SNL comedian and the singer are now engaged and living together! Does she know about his supposed gag?
As you probably remember, the terrible attack ended with no less than 22 people dying.
According to The Mirror, Pete joked about Ariana Grande’s fame and influence, saying that not even Britney Spears had ‘a terrorist attack at her concert.’
One eyewitness supposedly told the British outlet that that particular joke ‘drew gasps from the crowd and everyone squirmed in their seats, the event five months earlier was still pretty fresh, and there were plenty of British tourists in the crowd.’
In addition, a mother, Charlotte Hodgson, who lost her teen daughter Olivia Campbell-Hardy in the attack, allegedly slammed Davidson.
‘For anyone to joke about the situation is disgusting, and I think he should publicly apologize for it. The families will find it equally as disgusting. We don’t need jokes about it, there have been plenty around, and it’s heartbreaking to hear every day,’ she apparently told the publication.
Despite the pretty detailed report, however, one social media user, with the Twitter handle of @sizetoside, took it upon themselves to dissect the piece of news and what they discovered by going through the Laugh Factory’s lineup ‘five months’ after the terrorist attack was that Davidson was not among the performers at the time.
‘The mirror says pete supposedly said the manchester joke five months after it happened and that he said it at an LA show, meaning he would have performed oct/nov time. his name isn’t mentioned in any of the line ups during that time,’ the fan wrote.
Meanwhile, there was yet another user, @Rossi0714, who posted a screenshot of the Laugh Factory’s Puerto Rico disaster relief fundraiser lineup on October 23 and proved that Pete was actually among the comedians invited.

East coast meets west coast with SNL’s Pete Davidson representing NYC at the Laugh Factory.
The following day, Laugh Factory’s Facebook page also shared some pics of the SNL star on stage.
At this point, however, there is no proof that Pete said those offensive words.
