Pauley Perrette might be done starring on NCIS, but she has not launched a new line of skin care. This week, the former NCIS star debunked a scam on Facebook that showed her endorsing a skin care product.
“Those STUPID FALSE ADS are back up on Facebook! I DO NOT HAVE A SKIN CARE LINE! I DO NOT KNOW @DrOz!” Perrette shared on Twitter.
According to The Wrap, the ads claim that Perrette left NCIS in order to launch her own line of skin care products, including an anti-aging cream. Perrette is not the only celebrity who has fallen victim to the ads over the past year.

Given the nature of the ads, she cautioned fans against buying anything from the company in question.
Perrette played the part of Abby Sciuto on the hit CBS crime drama. She announced her departure earlier this season, and the decision sparked speculation about why she really left the series.
This includes rumors that she was fighting with co-star Mark Harmon and that their feud is why she left.
In her official statement, Perrette said that she is not at odds with the network and that she does not have a skin care line. She simply told fans that she made the decision to leave last year and hoped fans enjoyed her character over the years.
She has not commented on any other rumors related to her exit.
There’s something going on over on CBS NCIS too. Pauley Perrette quit and last we heard was just her tweets. pic.twitter.com/rfPrpWJo33

Perrette was replaced on the show by Diona Reasonover, who plays the part of Kasie Hines in Season 16.
Although her character was not killed off, Pauley Perrette has not said anything about the possibility of returning to the show at a later date. She was a part of the series since the very beginning and played one of the show’s most beloved characters.
New episodes of NCIS air Tuesday nights on CBS.
