Paula Faris Quitting Both The View And Good Morning America

After three seasons on the ABC show, Paula Faris is quitting her co-host job on The View. But that’s not all!
The woman is also no longer going to be a co-anchor on Good Morning America’s weekend episodes.
As fans may be aware, she worked there for four years!
Paula took to social media today to announced that she was ‘Excited/grateful for the opportunity to cover large stories and talk to the people at their center. Thank you to the gracious teams at @GMA Sat./Sun. and @TheView Not going far but I’ll miss you. However, I won’t miss that 3 am wake up on weekends! ;)’
That being said, the TV personality is not leaving ABC for good.
Despite the fact that she is exiting The View and GMA, she is set to continue her reporting for the network.
The mother of three is very religious, reason for which she’s also planning on launching her very own Christian podcast.
In addition, while she’s leaving the weekend episodes of Good Morning America, she will continue to be part of the show.
James Goldston, the President of ABC, told the staff in a memo that ‘I’m writing with exciting news about Paula Faris, who’ll take on a brand new role in the fall. She is expanding her reporting portfolio to cover the most significant stories of the day. [….] She will continue to be an important part of the GMA family and will still appear across all ABC News. [….] She has a keen understanding of the stories that resonate with our audience, and we are looking forward to more great work ahead.’
