Outlander’s new season is less than a month away and the cast is starting to drop some major spoilers ahead of the premiere. While fans continue to theorize about the coming season, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan recently opened up about Jamie and Claire’s romance in Season 4.
The new season will pick up with Jamie and Claire establishing a new home in the American Colonies. The two will eventually find a home on Fraser’s Ridge, but they will have to deal with plenty of challenges along the way.

Unlike last season, the two will face these challenges together as fans watch their relationship grow into something more mature and beautiful than ever before. This year is also the first time that we can rest assured that Jamie and Claire will remain together, despite whatever challenges they face.
“This season there is such a contentment with the two of them together,” Balfe shared. “I don’t think there are cliffhangers again about whether this couple will stay together or not.”
With his relationship with Claire rock solid, Jamie will turn his attention to his daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton), who will travel back in time to reunite with him this season. According to Express, Heughan revealed that Brianna feels kind of like an orphan with her parents gone and that she will lean on Roger Mackenzie (Richard Rankin) to get through a lot of the drama.

Brianna’s romance with Roger will be a big storyline this season. We do not know how far their relationship will develop in Season 4, but it is clear that they will grow closer as Brianna seeks out her long-lost parents.
Exactly how Roger and Brianna adjust to life in a different time, of course, is another matter entirely.
Season 4 of Outlander is scheduled to premiere Nov. 4 on Starz.
