Oprah Winfrey is no stranger to interviews as she has sat down and talked to almost every type of person out there. However, Oprah revealed that not every person she spoke with was great. On an episode of Harry, the host showed up to promote her newest book, The Wisdom Of Sundays: Life-Changing Insights From Super Bowl Conversations.
Harry Connick Junior asked the Oprah Winfrey host if she has ever been incredibly annoyed by a guest. During the podcast, she said it annoys her when someone talks about the past rather than the present moment.
Additionally, she said, “the other worst guests are those who think whatever they are talking about is so spectacular, and you know it’s not.” According to the talk show host, her “go-to-word” for people like that was “Wow! Really?”

Furthermore, she said those who continually promote their products while on the show are by far the worst. She said, “I had a guest on who was a lawyer,” and the attorney mentioned his book twenty-times.
Oprah stated their intention while on the set of the show was to sell peoples’ products for them that way they wouldn’t need to mention them.
As well as her worst guests, Oprah opened up about how she has done so well in the hour-long interview format. Winfrey said she’s glad things worked out the way that they did, and she said, “I’m really rich.”
According to the host, she’s “not one of those people” who lie about not being wealthy. In a seemingly unrelated fashion, she claimed, “I used to hate it” when skinny women came on the show and complained about their bodies. Perhaps, Oprah meant she is honest about her strengths and weaknesses rather than transparently attempting to be “humble.”
