Stephen Colbert sat down with Omarosa Manigault and asked her to explain why did she break down and cry while talking about her former boss, Donald Trump.
The TV host aired a clip showing the former White House adviser having a meltdown while having a conversation with Ross Matthews on Celebrity Big Brother.
With tears in her eyes, Manigault confessed: “It is bad. It is not going to be OK. It is not.”
She told Colbert that the conversation was about DACA and “DREAMers.”
“We were talking actually about the family of a poor man who had been in this country for over 30 years and had been sent back, and Ross was expressing his concern about what was happening with immigration. I do not believe that it can be resolved so simply, and that was part of the discussion, and that is why I was a bit emotional,” she revealed.
Matthews quickly took to Twitter to say Manigault never shed a tear while talking about immigration issues.
He tweeted: “No shade, but Omarosa is mistaken. This convo was not about the Dreamers (we discussed that at another time). This convo was about President Trump. When asked, she said we would not be okay. Simple as that. Perhaps (Big Brother) can release the unedited footage.”
Manigault also made headlines and scared many Americans during another Celebrity Big Brother episode.
While talking with her housemates, she made some shocking comments about another prominent figure in the White House.
Surprisingly, Manigault’s remarks were not about Mr. Trump, but instead Vice President Mike Pence.
Initially, the conversation revolved around the possible impeachment of the Republican president, but Manigault suddenly changed the course of the discussion by warning viewers and voters about Pence’s dark side.
According to the former reality star, the shortfalls of Trump’s administration were nothing in comparison to what the situation could be if Pence were to be sworn in as president of the United States of America.
Manigault also added that Pence’s religious views were too drastic, as he is exceptionally committed to his belief in God.
When the conversation reached the subject of immigration policy, Manigault did not stay neutral and decided to reveal her thoughts on Democrats — she claimed that they are hypocrites.
She explained herself by saying that nobody ever commented Barack Obama’s aggressive deportation methods during the eight years he was president.
Manigault’s sitdown with Colbert comes right after her health problems while on Celebrity Big Brother.
A few weeks ago, the reality star suffered a major asthma attack which led to her immediate hospitalization.
The incident occurred while the TV personality was enjoying a game of bowling.
Manigault shared that she was really frightened by the experience, but luckily her asthma is under control for now.
