The 2018 winter Olympic games will take place in Pyeongchang County, South Korea from February 9 through the 25, but that doesn’t mean the Olympic Channel is idly sitting by and waiting. The International Olympic Committee officially launched the sports network at the end of the 2016 summer Olympics, and things are starting to heat up. The Olympic Channel and the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) are the official home to Team USA and both will stream the Berlin marathon at different times. The NBC Sports Network and NBC Sports Gold will begin live streaming the marathon on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 3 a.m. ET. The Berlin Marathon will stream on the Olympic Channel at noon.
Several marathons will air on the Olympic Channel following the Berlin Marathon. On Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at 5 p.m. ET, the Chicago Marathon will air on the Olympic Channel. This will be a replay; however. Those who want to watch the Chicago Marathon live should tune into NBCSN or NBC Sports Gold on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at 8 a.m. ET.
On Sunday, October 15, 2017, the Amsterdam Marathon will stream live on the Olympic Channel beginning at 3 a.m. ET.
They are finally here. Can't wait to see them awarded at @pyeongchang2018!!!
