Barely a week after Cardi B welcomed their baby daughter together, Offset was reportedly arrested for illegal gun possession. According to TMZ, the rapper got pulled over by Georgia local policemen and then taken into custody today.
Some eyewitnesses told the outlet that the reason why the Migos member got arrested was that the cops found at least one firearm in his car.
Of course, that was discovered later when they decided to do a search but initially, he was pulled over for having tinted windows on the ride.
The rapper is not allowed to own any guns due to the fact that he’s a convicted felon on probation.
TMZ reports that at the time, his wife Cardi B and their newborn daughter Kulture were not with him in the car.
It all seemed like it was going great in their little family just a couple of days ago when Cardi shared a pic featuring her and Offset packing some sweet PDA while taking their newborn to the doctors.
‘Doctors visit with mom and dad,’ she simply captioned the photo.
The Bodak Yellow star has been keeping her followers posted on her first few days of motherhood, but unfortunately, while she was at home taking care of Kulture, Offset did not manage to stay out of trouble.
As you may know already, this is not the first time Offset gets in trouble with the law.
Back in 2013, he was arrested for once again violating his probation he received for burglary and theft.
In 2015, he was detained for possessing a Schedule II narcotic, marijuana, a firearm in a school safety zone, as well as possessing a firearm during a crime being committed.
He spent eight months behind bars and during that time he incited a riot!
In December he was released but only six months later he returned in police custody twice in just one week – for possessing marijuana and driving while his license was suspended.
