According to brand new reports, following his early prison release, O.J. Simpson may have scored a movie gig! Apparently, Sacha Baron Cohen was the one who offered the former jailbait a role in his upcoming film and paid him $20,000 for it as well.
One report claims the funnyman was spotted wearing quite a silly looking disguise in order to discreetly meet Simpson in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
There they supposedly talked in detail about their agreement.
A source explained that ‘O.J. wouldn’t even get in the hotel until he was paid a sack load of cash. There was no way Sacha could’ve gotten O.J. into the room without paying money first.’
Despite the fact that neither Simpson nor Cohen’s reps have officially confirmed the meeting and the alleged deal, we know that they at least know each other.
O.J. told the press that ‘I know him quite well. I met him. Nice guy.’
As you may already know, the 70-year-old was released from jail back in October of 2017 after serving 9 years of his sentence for armed robbery.
Of course, the man is best known for being accused of killing his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman and being found innocent in what was dubbed as The Trial of the Century back in 1994.
Upon hearing the rumors that Simpson would be back in Hollywood, the close ones of the two victims were quick to show how outraged they were to the press.
The families of both Brown and Goldman made it very clear that they believe it’s really inappropriate to make ‘entertainment’ out of O.J.’s dark past.
What do you think about this news? Would you watch a movie starring O.J. Simpson?
