O.J. Simpson gave his first interview since his release from prison! The man opened up about his supposed double murder ‘confession’ as well as his life in and after jail!
‘I get many offers to talk, but everybody wants to talk about the crap,’ he started.
He went on to address the Lost Confession special that included an interview from almost 12 years ago in which it seemed like he admitted to killing his former wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman back in 1994.
‘When people want to make money or get ratings, they are going to pimp me. I am going to get pimped,’ he said of the Fox special, before adding: ‘Listen, if I confessed 12 years ago, you would’ve heard about it 12 years ago!’
The controversial former sportsman also confessed that he did not watch the show’s premiere because he just knew it would ‘piss [him] off!’
As for his infamous double murder scandal, O.J. stated we all ‘have got to let it go,’ as he only wishes to enjoy his life as a free man after so many years behind bars.
‘I am totally happy with my life. I enjoy my retirement. I consider it forced retirement; do not get me wrong. I loved doing NFL Live, doing football games, doing the Olympics. If I had never stopped, I still would. But after the whole L.A. thing, I got put in forced retirement, and I got used to forced retirement. It isn’t bad,’ he added before talking about his NFL career and how his love for the sport continued while he was locked up.
‘I had four fantasy teams in Lovelock. I ran a league; they called it Champions League. When I first got to Lovelock, there was one, perhaps two fantasy leagues. When I left, out of a thousand guys in the yard, 910 were in fantasy leagues.’
