On the 21st of April, Nikki Bella shared a message about getting over trauma and old ways of living on her social media following her abrupt breakup with John Cena. Her post read, “Courage is the power to let go of the familiar.”
Back on the 20th of April, the 34-year-old wrestler wrote, “for whatever we lost, it’s always our self we find in the sea,” while standing on the beach.
As it was previously reported, Nikki and John broke up just a few months before getting married because John didn’t want to have children and she did.
It was a point of contention for them in the past, and they revealed that several times in interviews. Additionally, Nikki said she had to get therapy to get over the fact that she wouldn’t be having children.
Looking back on it now, it almost seemed inevitable their relationship would collapse considering they both wanted dramatically different things.
To make matters worse, reports released by Us Weekly claimed that John made his ex-fiancée sign an agreement before moving into his house.
However, he likened it to preparing himself for an unlikely, but a possibly catastrophic situation. Additionally, John is one of the busiest wrestlers in the history of the WWE, and he frequently works with the Sick Kids Foundation.
An insider explained to us, “it was doomed right from the beginning for a simple reason. Nikki wanted kids right away and John didn’t. If Bella got married to him, there would be no chance of having kids.”
Reportedly, John and Bella had dated since 2012 and were scheduled to get married just one month away in Mexico. A source who spoke with Us Weekly claimed John is too busy of a man, and frequently puts his work before Nikki.
