Nicole Eggert appeared on CBS’ The Talk where she addressed allegations against her co-star and the show’s director, Scott Baio, that he molested her between the ages of 14-17. Nicole has found support in another castmate of the show, Alexander Polinsky, who delivered an emotional statement about the alleged abuse he witnessed.
Co-host Sara Gilbert read the statement and broke down in tears. While many people have focused on the fact that another member of Charles in Charge has come forward with abuse allegations against Scott Baio, there was another important moment that occurred during the interview.
Nicole Eggert had a message for Scott Baio and she told him that the sooner he comes clean, the sooner it will go away.
Nicole was speaking with Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, and the other co-hosts when she addressed the emotional pain and turmoil she’s experienced since speaking publicly about her allegations of sexual abuse. She first came forward on January 27, 2018, when she responded to a tweet by calling Scott Baio a creep.
She had indicated that he acted inappropriately with her in his garage. As tweets began to fire off back and forth, Nicole’s allegations against Scott Baio continued. She named several incidents and assaults. Scott Baio fired back with a Facebook video.
During a live stream, he denied ever sexually abusing her or abusing Alexander Polinsky and said that he did have sex with Nicole, but she was well over 18-years-old. Scott Baio continues to state he is innocent.
Nicole Eggert described being slut-shamed and said she has received numerous rude comments on her social media accounts and encouraged Scott Baio to simply come clean to end the nightmare they are both enduring.

Scott Baio has numerous supporters who believe that he is innocent and that Nicole Eggert is plotting against him for political reasons.
Nicole Eggert argues that she is simply coming forward after years of confusion regarding her relationship with Baio. Nicole states she was a virgin and the sexual activity that occurred while filming Charles in Charge was the first experiences of her life.
Alexander Polinsky states that he walked in on Scott an Nicole during his first year on the set. He said they were behind the set and Nicole was sitting on Scott Baio’s lap. Scott Baio is 11 years older than Nicole. When she was 14-years-old, he was 25-years-old.
