Love is in the air for these two, and it looks like they want to express their feelings any way they can. That being said, fans are now convinced that Nick Jonas’ song Right Now is about his fiancée Priyanka Chopra.
As you may be aware, the singer dropped the brand new song today and quickly after, social media started theorizing that the lyrics were written about a special someone.
Nick sings about a significant other that is ‘my water, my sun, my moon, and stars.’
The lyrics go on to talk about struggling with a long distance relationship, however.
‘Right now, you know I miss your body/ So I won’t kiss nobody until you come back home/ And I swear, the next time that I hold you/ I won’t let you go nowhere/ You’ll never be alone, I’ll never let you go.’
Fans connected the dots as it’s no secret that both Nick and Priyanka travel all over the world for their careers, making their romance long distance.
About the song, Nick told Teen Vogue that ‘I was looking for the right time to put it out and the right person to collaborate with,’ meaning that he has been sitting on it for a really long time.
He worked on it with Skylar Grey, and collabed with German DJ Robin Schulz.
Considering he and Priyanka only started dating back in May, the song might not be about her after all.
The two are already engaged, but Chopra’s mother told DNA India not too long ago about the upcoming wedding that: ‘They haven’t decided on a date yet. It is too soon. Both of them have work commitments right now which they really need to finish. They’ll take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it.’
