George Michael’s sudden death shocked not only his family and friends but also his many fans. People are still a bit confused about what exactly happened on Christmas day when his lover, Fadi Fawaz found the legend dead in his own home.
Now, however, there are a few new pieces of information about the singer’s passing and Fawaz’s reaction when discovering the body.
Recently, Michael’s family spoke in defense of his partner who was suspected by the media to have had something to do with the untimely death of the star.
According to sources close to the mourning boyfriend, Fawaz made a heartbreaking call after he found the singer looking unresponsive in his Oxford residence.
During the phone call to his nephew Josh Fawaz, the lover sounded pretty distraught and the conversation is a very important part of the police investigation trying to figure out what exactly caused the death of the 53 year old.
“Oh God, I think he’s dead” he said over the phone to his nephew as the paramedics were fighting to resuscitate Michael.
As rumors about Fawaz’s involvement continue to go around, the 28 year old Josh Fawaz had decided to speak up in defense of his uncle.
“I’ve never heard a grown man cry so much,” Josh claimed. “Fadi called me saying: ‘What am I going to do without him?’
“They spent almost every day together for six years. He was so upset, he had been crying at the house beside George and I believe he found him dead.”
Fawaz has also been helping the police with their investigation and even willingly went through five hours or rigorous interrogation to prove he was not involved.
“Fadi has had the finger pointed at him but it’s all bull***t,” added the nephew.
“There was nothing but love in that relationship; he has been called a leech and all sorts, but he never took advantage or would do anything to hurt George.”
