15 years in a row? Are you freaking kidding me? At the 2016 National Television Awards night, Ant and Dec won as the best TV presenter. However, this isn’t just an ordinary award. This is something special for the duo, as they’ve won this award for 15 straight years. This is amazing, right? These dynamic duo can prove that they can beat others because of their own beliefs. They believe in their own capabilities as TV presenters, in which something made them as the top ones. For 15 years, all we can say is that this is such an enormous achievement like no other. Dec said that it’s such an honor to have this award once again as the best TV presenter. He thanked all of those who supported him and Ant, and it’s really amazing. He was asked if he and Ant doesn’t get bored in winning the first prize once again, it isn’t at all.
Overall, it was indeed a lot of fun for both of these guys to receive first prize for 15 straight years. It means both of them are doing their job consistently and continue to grow for many years to come. Not to mention that Ant said it’s kind of a bit mental today. Aside from the duo, another one surprised us by winning two awards. Suranne Jones recently won two awards while she was pregnant. She was spotted wearing a simple black gorgeous gown, and she’s kind of blooming too. The 37-year old actress is expecting her first child with husband Laurence Akers.
The best part for her is that she won the Best Drama Performance award. It is because her role as Doctor Gemma Foster is truly amazing and epic. This is why she deserves this kind of award. At the same, the Doctor Foster TV show also receives an award for the best new drama series on national television. Since she was pregnant, it looks like we have to wait for the new series to come this month. Suranne thanked the fans who voted her for this award, and it really means a lot to her. The fans should be excited for the new series this coming month, and it’s going to be thrilling and amazing.
Other ones who receive the award are Billy Connolly for winning the Special Recognition Award, and Shayne Ward with his Newcomer award. With their evening dresses, it seems that the ladies ignored the temperature at the O2 Arena in London. At the National TV Awards 2016, Downtown Abbey was picked as the best drama award overall. They deserved to be awarded like that because of the delight of their fans. Echo Falls sponsored the entire event along with the other companies out there. Hugh Bonneville, who played as Robert Crawley in the best drama series, said that this was a special night for them. As for Laura Carmichael, who plays Edith Crawley, she tried not to be emotional for winning this award with the entire cast of this drama series.
It was indeed a successful event and congratulations to those who are awarded that night.
