Yesterday, the Nashville actress and her significant other Brandon Robert Young walked down the aisle, and the ceremony took place in Nashville! The singer and actress and her lover announced their wedding back in January after her musician boyfriend proposed during Clare’s performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
At the time, during an interview, she revealed the date – 21st of October – noting that both she and Young love fall a lot.
Sadly for Bowen, she had to postpone the wedding planning for a few months after her younger sibling got diagnosed with cancer.
Fortunately, after he brother entered remission, she and Young managed to resume the preparations successfully.
‘I’d never wanted to get married before Brandon, which I kind of love. We are picking flowers and I am designing dresses with this wonderful designer named Olia Zavozina, who is Nashville-based. It is so beautiful. It is so much fun. I had no idea because I did not have any dreams about it before him,’ the actress explained.
On the morning of the wedding, the bride shared a pic of the sunrise, captioning it: ‘Watching the sunrise. Wearing the blanket I was wrapped in when I was born around my shoulders. Gonna go marry my soulmate now. #foreverbowenyoung.’
The night before, Bowen and her friends also posted a number of snaps of the preparation, and this unicorn cake is our favorite thing ever!
Earlier in the month, the actress also shared a photo of her beloved parents on their way from Australia in order to help with the planning.
‘My parents waltzing their way through @sydneyairport to come help me do all the things I never thought I would do, because I never thought I would get married, because that is something that happened to other people,’ she wrote, noting that Young changed her mind about marriage, and she couldn’t be happier.
Congratulations Clare and Brandon!
