Actresses Annabella Sciorra and Daryl Hannah revealed stories of their experiences of sexual assault perpetrated by the disgraced producer, Harvey Weinstein. In a new report published by the New York Times, Sciorra went into detail about the time Harvey allegedly assaulted her in the early 1990’s.
The 57-year-old actress claimed she met Harvey in the beginning of the 90’s after appearing in the film, The Night We Never Met.
Sciorra stated that Weinstein gave her a ride home one night, and when she was getting ready to go to sleep, she heard someone knocking on her door. When she opened it, Harvey allegedly forced the door open and came inside.
According to the 57-year-old, Harvey “walked in like it was his apartment” and started “unbuttoning his shirt.”
It became self-evident where he thought the interaction was headed. Sciorra said he pushed her onto the bed and got on top of her before proceeding to “force her to have sex.”
Annabella claimed her body began to “shake violently” and it probably caused him to leave because it appeared as if she was “having a seizure.” Like most of the women, she never went to the police because she felt embarrassed by what happened.
Hannah, 56, experienced two incidents with the producer as well after she met him at the Cannes Film Festival.
According to Daryl, they exchanged information for a “possible business meeting, ” and one night after he called her several times, he came straight to her home and knocked on the door.
Hannah claimed, “It was incessant, and then it started turning into pounding on my door.” The Kill Bill actress said she left through a back entrance and slept in her co-worker’s room, but Harvey came back the very next day. Hannah explained that she and her makeup artist pushed a dresser in front of the door and hid from him.
