Monique Samuels, cast-member of The Real Housewives of Potomac has been very open on the show about her personal life, most recently telling all on her marital problems with Chris Samuels. The reality TV celeb is not afraid to put herself out there, but she made it very clear that the issues she shows on screen are nothing for the fans to worry about too much.
During an interview with ET, she explained that she believes arguments between partners are a normal part of life which is why she is not hiding them.
In her opinion, everyone goes through it, and if some don’t, they are probably not addressing things and are lying to themselves that their marriages are perfect.
The cat’s out of the bag! @iamchristopher2 asked if there was a baby in my tummy! I immediately started recording the convo! My silly kids cannot deal with this serious convo ??? As fans may be aware, their fights started from the fact that the Monique was constantly on her husband about ‘maintaining balance’ between work and family when he was still coaching.
But now that the woman is getting all kinds of opportunities, Chris is slamming her back about all that ‘preaching’ that she needs to also practice.
‘My husband held me accountable the same way I held him accountable. At first, it was something that irritated both of us, but then we had to calm down and say, we are not here to fight each other. We are here to make it work. Let’s figure out what we need to do, what changes we need to make, and I made a lot of changes. And we are so good now. We are so good! We are in a very good season right now. It’s bliss,’ Monique explained to the outlet.
That being said, the woman is planning on sharing lessons like that on her and her hubby’s podcast titled Not For Lazy Moms.
The reality TV star cannot wait to open up more about family issues such as parenting and even miscarriages but also the usual spats between partners.
Apparently, showing all about their lives together on RHOP brought her and Chris a lot closer.
‘[We want to] let people know that you’re not the only one. You know, you don’t have to feel alone. Everyone goes through these things,’ she concluded.
