Just months after Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker started dating Miranda Lambert, his divorce from Staci Felker is final. Back in May, Evan filed a scheduling order to quickly end the marriage, fearing that Staci would “unduly delay” the divorce.
However, according to Us Weekly, Evan’s motion surprised Staci, and she was more than ready to move on.
“Anyone who actually speaks to Staci knows she has wanted out of this marriage for months. Evan is the one who disappeared again and again and changed his phone number,” said an insider. “They both planned to end this quietly. Staci has never wanted to go to court, and Evan told Staci he did not want to either.”
Miranda Lambert and rumored boyfriend Evan Felker can go public now, we guess. https://t.co/og58aqDi9L

Evan started dating Lambert after his band opened for her on her Livin’ Like Hippies tour in January. An insider says that things just “happened” between the two of them, even though she was dating Anderson East and he was married to Staci.
After Lambert’s tour wrapped, a source says that Evan ghosted Staci, and she didn’t learn about her husband’s divorce filing until she saw it in the local paper.
Last month, Evan and his new Grammy winning girlfriend stepped out in public for the first time together, and cameras caught the couple holding hands in New York City. An eyewitness said that they “looked very happy together.”
Here comes Miranda’s “I’m just a normal, flawed person” narrative. She & Evan Felker are several classes below Staci Felker. Turnpike Troubadours can keep blocking every Team Staci person but jokes on them. Miranda will make sure Evan goes solo & they get the Staci treatment.

In a recent interview, Lambert said that she has “always been pretty honest” in her music and with her fans about who she is, and she thinks that is what has set her apart from other country music stars. She added that she is flawed, but she is a “regular girl with regular problems,” and she has made a career based on telling the truth.
Lambert also said that she believes there has been a lack of women in country music and songs from their perspectives. She says that “women want to hear women” because they want to know that they are not alone in their issues.

The 34-year-old singer says that she feels like in the past couple of years, country music has started to shift from being male-driven, and now people are starting to pay attention to women again. And, as part of the trio Pistol Annies, the women together are a force to be reckoned with, and they can get more raw and rugged than they could alone.
As far as any advice that she has gotten from other country stars, Lambert says that when she met Dolly Parton, she told her to “keep going” and “you do you.” Parton also told Miranda Lambert to believe in what she believes in, and don’t take no for an answer.
