Despite being very open about their marriage and family in interviews, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have not walked a red carpet together since becoming a couple over five years ago.
That all changed on Sunday when they attended the Sixth Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles. The duo has been married for two years and share two children, Wyatt, 3 and Dimitri, 1.
The two seemed to be in good spirits and flirted while cameras looked on. Kutcher joked with Kunis who laughed in response to his humor as they affectionately had their arms around one another.
The event itself may be very near and dear to the couple’s heart as it’s considered the Oscars of science. Both Kutcher and Kunis have been proponents of science-based information and research.
As far as their burgeoning little family, Kunis has recently spoken about wanting to do as much as she can without the help of nannies and babysitters. She revealed that she’s the one up in the middle of the night when the kids won’t sleep because it’s imperative that she be as hands-on as possible. Even if that means she’s deprived of sleep.
The Bad Moms actress has also explained that her kids aren’t getting Christmas presents this year. Or at least, not as many as they did last year.
Kunis thinks that when kids are so young and won’t remember the mountain of toys they get from friends, family, and Santa, it becomes a bit much. Too overwhelming and a bit wasteful.
It seems Kunis and Kutcher have really come into a life that they are proud of and love very much. Even with the hecticness of two small children and juggling their two careers, they seem to have it down to a science. So much so that Kunis even claims that her husband nor her children annoy her. That she’s so grateful for their humor and interest and precocious personalities that she doesn’t get bothered by who they are and how they express themselves.
Sounds like we could all take a page out of that book!
