When it comes to relationships, we all have our fair share of ones that end badly. If we have any sliver of self-awareness, many of these relationships can serve as lessons on how not to act in subsequent relationships. This was certainly the case for actress Mila Kunis, who has recently opened up about her long term relationship with Macaulay Culkin.
In fact, the raven-haired beauty admitted that she was the one at fault for the end of their nearly nine-year relationship.
Kunis reveals that their breakup was pretty horrible.
She also admits that she knows she’s the one who “f****d up.”
Kunis says she was wasn’t necessarily very kind or emotionally healthy in her 20s. She reveals that being selfish or unkind was something that took her a long time to get out of when she was at that stage in her life.
She does think it’s important that she was able to learn and grow from that period of time but to now accept it and own up to it.
Kunis credits being single after the demise of that relationship for giving her time to figure herself out and regroup as a human being.
Kunis says enough time has gone by that she feels confident in the growth she’s achieved as an individual and she’s forgiven herself for what transpired in that long term relationship.
She’s seemed to really grow from that experience.
Now the 34-year-old actress is happily married to former That 70’s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher and they have two children, Wyatt and Dimitri.
She speaks openly and lovingly about what a great husband and father Kutcher is.
As for more kids, Kunis is likely done. She doesn’t want to have too many kids because she doesn’t want her and Kutcher to be “outnumbered.”
