Miko Brando, one of Marlon’s sons, is not pleased with the rumors perpetuated by Quincy Jones. Regarding the allegations that Pryor and Brando had a sexual relationship, Miko came out to vehemently deny the claim.
Miko, in a statement to TMZ on the 12th of February, said he and the Brando estate are “disappointed” Quincy would make such a comment regarding his father and Richard Pryor.
Miko won’t be the first one to deny their alleged history. Rain, one of Pryor’s daughters, said the same thing on Facebook on the 8th of February.
She took to social media to slam Pryor’s ex-wife, Jennifer Lee, as well as Quincy who was the one to resurface the old gossip. She wrote that Quincy was once a great creator of music who is now “losing his mind,” and hopes to create publicity for himself through a sensationalized interview.
Additionally, according to Rain, Jennifer Lee validated the claim which makes it worse. Rain stated Jennifer is “legitimizing herself” through tarnishing her father’s reputation.
Lee said both people are “bottom feeders” who distort the truth to draw attention to themselves. Celebrity Insider reported last week that Vulture published an interview with Quincy whereby the music producer revealed Brando and Pryor had a romantic partnership.
Jones stated Marlon was one of the most charming people alive and was sexually promiscuous. The iconic producer said he would “f*ck a mailbox.”
Just one day after, TMZ talked with Pryor’s widow, Lee, who confirmed the charges and said she had read his diary where he spoke about hooking up with other men.
Lee stated it was the 1970’s so everybody partied hard and engaged in promiscuities. Lee married Pryor two times: once from 1981 until 1982, and again from 2001 until 2005. She was by his side until the end.
